Fall 2020 – Present

AL CIELO

Al Cielo is a VR exploration game about a boy in Mexico who wants to build a rocketship.

I am the producer for this remote 11 person team and spend most of my days checking in with teammates and designing progress trackers and production plans that are useful for both myself and my teammates.

Highlight: I helped develop a checkin/checkout system in GitHub for the programming team to prevent conflicts and corruptions due to working remotely

Fall 2019 – Spring 2020

Games @ UCSC community manager

I supported the broader games community at UCSC, comprised of the ~800 students enrolled in our various game-related programs.

On the daily I managed our Discord, coordinated with possible guest speakers, and planned for events I would eventually facilitate.

Highlight: Produced and moderated an Online Showcase, complete with an interactive 2D exhibition and a livestream that hundreds attended.

Spring 2019

skytale

This was my first game project where I practiced the entirety of the production pipeline as a producer and UI designer.

I was in charge of scheduling meetings, spreadsheet tracking, and facilitating meetings.

Highlight: Producing a more complicated game than any I had ever made before, that I got to show off in a class presentation.

Young girl, big dreams

This is a game about some inspiring female faculty at UCSC made for a documentary class.

I put the game together on Twine after scheduling and conducting interviews with faculty, and gathering assets from my 2 other groupmates.

Highlight: Working with and managing 2 other female students to make a game made and inspired by powerful female role models.
